DR. TROY REYNA - Biography

Dr. Troy Reyna

Dr. Troy Reyna hails from El Paso, Texas. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, D.C. Surgical residency was completed at both Walter Reed Army Medical Center, also in Washington, and at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. His pediatric surgery fellowship was obtained at Columbus Children’s Hospital (Ohio State University) in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Reyna is double-boarded in both general and pediatric surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Reyna served in the United States Army for 21 years. He was stationed in Germany, Central America, and Iraq during “Operation Desert Storm”. He came to Las Vegas in 1993 when he retired from the military.

He started the Center for Children’s Surgery in 1996. He is happily married to Pamela Reyna, who is a pediatric surgery physician assistant. Pam now works full time at home riding herd on the Reyna’s triplets. His primary interests are his family and providing and insuring the best possible care for the children of Clark County and it’s surrounding environs.
